Proper Little National Pies: New Varieties Carton

Whether you’re celebrating a kid’s birthday, throwing a sophisticated soiree or chilling out in front of the football, there’s an easy, tasty way to handle hunger pangs: National Pies’ Proper Littles.

They’re Tasmanian Bakeries’ update on the party pie and sausage roll. Perfect for entertaining, Proper Littles offer satisfying, mouth-watering flavour in a bite-sized snack. “Like all our products, Proper Littles are only made from the best ingredients,” said Geraldine Tebbutt, CEO of Tasmanian Bakeries. “That includes 100% Australian grass-fed beef, free-range Tasmanian chicken and local produce.”

And because you’ll find it hard to stop at just one, National Pies have released a new Varieties Carton including all of their best-selling flavours:
• Little Classic Beef Pies: Why mess with perfection? Made using 100% grass-fed Australian beef and sure to get the party started. (Or refuelled, if it’s already been going for a while…)

• Little Grass Fed Beef Rolls: These petite pastry heroes are a favourite with everyone. We take a classic sausage roll and add rosemary and a hint of truffle.

• Little Free Range Curried Chicken Pies: People of the world, spice up your life. We’ve added a little kick to classic chick.

• Little Free Range Chicken & Camembert Pies: When people asked for more cheese, please, we added creamy Camembert to chicken. It’s a swanky party pie – sophistication wrapped in tasty pastry.

National Pies are baked daily by Tasmanian Bakeries. Their story began in 1942 with Alfred Gough, a young butcher’s shop apprentice in Hobart who set out to create Australia’s tastiest pastries. Alfred’s handcrafted National Pies soon became famous across Tasmania, available in almost every corner store, school canteen and sporting club. 80 years and two generations later, Tasmanian Bakeries continues to focus on what made the company a Tassie icon: baking Australia’s best pies!
