Russell Fisher serves as the Managing Director of Max Stocks Food Service, established in 1954 a third-generation family-owned and operated business by the Fisher family for over 40 years. Before his tenure at Max Stocks Food Service, Mr Fisher owned a seafood wholesale business. Prior to taking on the role of General Manager within Max Stocks Food Service, Mr Fisher worked in various departments to gain a deep understanding of the business operations. In 2022, Mr. Fisher assumed the position of sole owner and Director of Max Stocks Food Service. As the Director, his primary responsibilities include overseeing acquisitions and ensuring the execution of the company’s strategic plan. Notably, in October 2023, Mr. Fisher was appointed to the Board of Countrywide, where he brings invaluable knowledge of the food industry and the challenges faced by regional Australia on a daily basis, both presently and in the future.
