As the nationwide supplier of Guzman Y Gomez restaurants, Countrywide gives you a glimpse into the first design-built concept drive-through store to open in Coffs Harbour in early November 2017.
Some exciting times ahead for GyG:
- GYG’s first drive-through opened in 2015 with “times on par with McDonald’s”, and GyG will open another eight this year: at Acacia Ridge, Maroochydore, Springfield, Capalaba, Burleigh Heads in Queensland, Hoxton Park and Coffs Harbour in NSW, and Bendigo in Victoria.
- GyG, which opened its first store in 2005, now turns over more than $160 million a year, based on 82 stores in Australia, five in Singapore and four in Tokyo, and aims to open up to 25 new locations a year, including its first US stores.
- More than 20% of GyG’s orders now come through its GYG APP and GYG are aiming to achieve 100%, eventually having counterless stores!
- GYG has also teamed up with Caltex to open four pilot stores – two in Victoria and two in NSW – as part of the service stations “The Foodery” concept, with the potential for more locations to speed up GyG’s national rollout.
