Markris Foods - a local family run business started approximately 20 years and the present owners Neil and Jane Cole bought the business in March 2007.
Neil's ethos is Customer Service - stemming from many years in wholesale and retail food hospitality. His roots are food wholesaling and restaurant businesses. They pride themselves on being a great team and being "Hands On" in the business.
Talking of teams, the Markris team of workers are as committed to their work as can possibly be and are the "best in the business". There are currently 11 staff members - mostly ex chefs who find life outside the kitchen more to their liking, and it means that they can relate closely to the needs, likes and dislikes that the chefs and owners have.
Markris has historically been a supplier to the fine dining sector of the industry and have built on that to expand their product range enabling them to supply all sectors of the hospitality industry including restaurants, cafes, pizzerias, fish&chips, caterers, clubs, bars, resorts, schools, hospitals etc. Markris Foods is also a Cash and Carry Warehouse and do serve the general public.
