Galipo Food Co
The Galipo Food Company was formed in 1983 by Sebastian Galipo, working from the rear of his home and using second hand chest freezers and a small delivery truck Sebastian and family slowly built a small but successful business. In those formative years the Galipo Food Company sold mainly Take-A-Way food products, this small niche’ market slowly grew to where Sebastian required more hands which then meant the introduction of Bill Galipo to the business.
Sebastian and Bill, and their families, have over many years built a business on old traditional values, where the customer is always number one and services to our customers is unequalled by our competitors. This tradition still stands today which has contributed in the Galipo Food Company being the biggest independent food distributor in South Australia.
The Galipo Food Company has a fleet of over twenty vehicles which services all the Metropolitan area. Galipo’s commitment to excellence is further enhanced by being HACCP and WQA certified. The Woolworth’s Quality Assurance (WQA) is recognised as one of the most stringent and exacting food standards in Australia and it is with pride that the Galipo Food Company can say that we have been WQA since May of 2000.
Galipo stocks over 4,000 different products, so if it’s in your freezer, fridge or pantry it is more than likely that we will be able to supply it.
