Coona Food Suppliers Pty Ltd commenced operations on the 2nd July 1979. This business is an independent family owned operation supplying Northwest NSW covering an area in excess of 93,000 square kilometres. The company is a full foodservice distributor and carries over 5,000 foodservice and retail lines. Coona Food Suppliers Pty Ltd is the Streets agent for this total area.
In the early eighties Coona Food Suppliers Pty Ltd pioneered refrigerated services to several outlying areas, particularly major cotton farms etc. and continues to service these customers today. The company is well known for its reliability of supply and this has been evident during many floods and bushfires in the past 25 years.
In the late eighties it became obvious to Bob Denman, Managing Director, that customer’s costs were paramount and he was the first distributor to introduce a toll free telephone number for his customer base in the area. Following on from that Bob, in association with a good friend, developed the first telesales computer ordering system which is called “BiZneW” and now used by several Countrywide members and external companies.
Our customers are the most important part of our business. Our aim is to provide them with quality products from leading manufacturers and excellent delivery service.
